Will you be allowing multiple orders to be combined when they are pre-order products delayed due to the shipping restrictions?

    I have 3 Pre-orders in the next 3 months:

    A) Released Mid April (1 product, Delayed)

    B) Releasing End of May (3 products, not yet released)

    C) Releasing End of June (2 products, not yet released)

Will I be able to combine A and B to save both myself and AmiAmi shipping cost associated with shipping both orders?
There is no option to combine  A and B on the website as the orders are for separate months, can customer service force these to combine?

If it is June and A and B are still delayed, will I be able to combine A B and C into 1 order with 1 shipment?

The reason I ask is because I would prefer we cut shipping costs as low as possible for both myself and AmiAmi because it is wasteful to pay shipping 3 times and it is wasteful to need to pack 3 orders and ship 3 separate orders from your fulfillment side.

    Hello Lilzuljin5079,

For any orders on hold at our warehouse, please contact our support if you wish to combine the orders.

Normally delayed orders can be combined with other in-stock items and items scheduled to be released within the current month.

*As paid orders can not be modified, any paid orders that are on hold for shipment, will be refunded before the order is updated.

For further assistance, please submit a request and provide us with your order numbers.

If I buy SAL to United States of America will it just sit in your ware house until shipping restrictions lift?

@ Ryan Peacock, from my understanding on Amiami's previous articles SAL and EMS is not available options for shipping due to COVID-19. The only available option is DHL shipping. Hope that helps.

    Hello Ryan Peacock,

As Chandee Yang has correctly pointed out, DHL is currently the only available shipping method for customers within the United States.

If DHL does not work for you, or if you prefer using a different shipping method, then you can still select a different shipping method for your orders, in which case your order will be shipped when the selected shipping method becomes available again.

Unfortunately we are not able to provide any estimates for when the other shiping methods will become available again, but given the fact that Japan Post is estimating delays of up to several months for already shipped orders, we are not expecting to be able to ship any orders (except for DHL) within a near future.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact our support.

Hello, I was given a tracking number on May 8th for my EMS shipment to Canada. The tracking number says it is still in Japan. Are there heavy delays in Japan for sending out EMS orders? Should I expect my future orders to be as delayed if I choose EMS? Thank you kindly

    Hello Stephen,

Over the last few weeks, shipping times to Canada (and many other countries) has greatly increased, due to the reduced international flight capacity.

So it is likely that you will see your packages being delayed in Japan, until there is available space on a flight to your country.

As it is mainly the processing of international shipping that is affected, you will typically see less delays within your country, and you may receive your package within a few days after your package arrives to your country. *Depending on the situation within your country and your local postal service.

Until flight capacity increases, and Japan Post catches up with the current delayed packages, we would expect for delays to continue for future orders as well.

If you are in a hurry to receive any packages, we would recommend using DHL shipping instead. As DHL use their own flights, they are less affected by the current delays, and their average shipping times for Canada is currently around a week for final delivery.

If you are worried regarding any packages currently in shipment, please submit a request to our support team and provide your order number or tracking number, so that we can look into your case, and if necessary contact Japan Post if there is anything unclear about the status of your package.

You know I been using EMS from Toronto to Tokyo even Miyagi! I returned 'ordered by mistake', because I ordered Fate Grand Order Figma Series: Mash Shielder not 2 girls from 'Girls and Panzer Film'. I returned this package since 4/26/20 from 12days to 15days and EMS or Canada Post works possible including for my 'full refunds'! It's a long story on why they 'sold out' or 'ripped off'! Not in the U.S. They works normally, if I'm lucky.

    Hello Paul Heather,

For customers in New Zealand, DHL shipping is currently available, and currently, shipping delays for DHL to New Zealand is very minor.

Regarding UPS or other shipping options, we are currently not scheduled to add any more shipping methods to our store. However, if the delays with Japan Post continues, we may re-consider the situation in the future.

If you have problems with updating any orders to DHL, then please contact our support for further assistance and confirming if your orders are eligible for DHL shipping.

    Hello Eduardo Vicencio,

At the time of writing this reply, customers from Canada can use EMS/Air and DHL shipping. However, over the past couple of weeks, we have noticed a large increase in shipping delays with Japan Post, so for packages shipped using EMS or Air shipping, shipping times are currently expected to be much longer than usual.

If you have any questions regarding your returned item, then please submit a request to our support team for further assistace.

    Hello Anna Zubkova,

We are sorry to say that all shipping methods used by our store is currently blocked in Russia, so no matter which shipping method you select, your order will be placed on hold for shipment, until the postal service in your country resumes their international shipping services.

If you wish to confirm the status of any particular order, then please submit a request to our support team, so that we can assist you.

If I did not misunderstand, it says that Japan Post shipments in my country are temporarily suspended (Argentina)
But in DHL Express it is seen that my country appears but with delay, will there be any way to change my orders to DHL? Of course, if they are available in my country.
Is there a shipping method for my country?

    Hello Alex Figueroa,

It is correct that DHL Express is the only shipping method that we are currently able to ship to Argentina.

If your order is before payment, either "Awaiting payment" or "Pre-order" status, then you can simply update the order from your My Account page, or on the payment page before completing the payment.

If however you have already submitted your payment and your order is on hold at our warehouse, then please submit a request to our support team, and we will provide assistance with updating your order. One thing to keep in mind is that the shipping cost will change, so we will need to re-fund and re-invoice your order in this case.

Due to the fact that DHL can be expensive for shipments to Argentina, we would normally recommend using DHL if you are in a hurry to receive any packages. If you wish to confirm how much the shipping cost will change before making a decision, then please also submit a request to our support team, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Hello,

If I have order A in stock and order B in stock both not paid for yet and payment for order A is due in July but B is due in August, if I combine A & B together will the new payment due date be due in July then?

Also since shipping to my country is like mostly on hold, if the combined order of A&B did not get shipped yet and I have a new order C that is ready for payment, can I combine them all together still?

    Thanks

Hi Jim, I'm not ami ami staff but I want to give some insight into my experience as a customer. I was able to combine my April and May order at the start of May into one order With May's extended payment due date. In June I was able to combine the newly combined May order into June and it used June's extended payment due date. If you want to be safe make sure you specify you want the products in order A moved over to order B with that specific payment due date. As far as I know we can keep combining our orders. Next month will be my 4th rolling order combine and each time it has used the later payment date.

    Hello Jim and Lilzuljin5079,

Due to the COVID-19 situation around the world, we are currently trying to be supportive with extending payment deadlines when necessary. Which is also why we are currently offering a 2 month payment deadline for newly invoiced orders. (Normally 1 week)

However, as these ar not the standard procedures at our store, and our system is not designed to handle extensions of payment deadlines very well, you may notice that when combining orders, the new order will have the same payment deadline as either of the original orders, or in some rare cases even a different payment deadline if either of the original orders were a result of a previous combination of orders. (Normally the payment deadline should always be the order with the shorter deadline)

If it is the case that you will not be able to submit your payment by the given payment deadline and need some more time to submit your payments, then please submit a request to our support team for further assistance.

Reagrding shipments on hold at our warehouse, it is possible to combine more items to the orders, even after you have submitted your payment. However, when combining paid orders, you need to contact our support, because the current payment needs to be refunded before the orders can be combined. Note: It is NOT possible to modify orders that are being prepared for shipment, so when shipments resume in your country, it will no longer be possible to combine or modify any paid orders.

Hello. I've paid for a pre order back in May with SAL shipping. Is there any way to change the shipping to DHL and pay you the difference? Or am I stuck waiting the unknown amount of time for my package to arrive?

    Thank you

    Hello Misty Husar,

As long as your order is still on hold at our warehouse, which it should be if you have selected SAL shipping, then we can assist with updating the shipping method for your order.

We would be refunding your previous payment and then update and re-invoice your order.

Please submit a request to our support team, including your order number for further assistance.

    Hello Sadudee Phuang-ngoen,

On June 30th, Japan Post announced that shipments to China, Italy and New Zealand will resume from July 1st. However, SAL shipments are still unavailable for all countries.

The article has been updated with the latest updates, so if your country is still listed as unavailable, then there has not yet been any updates regarding your country.

If you have any questions, then please let us know, and please keep an eye on this article for future updates.

    Hello,

Since if we want to combined paid orders that are still on hold from shipping, they would first need to be refunded first. If I paid for the orders with my credit card, will the money be refunded be directly back to my credit card then?
Also when will the payment be due then for the newly combined orders?

    Thanks.

    Hello Jim,

All payments should be refunded back through the original payment method. So if you used credit card when submitting your payment, then the refund should arrive back to the same credit card.

Normally when combining orders, the payment deadline would be set to the original deadline of the orders that you are combining. However, in this particular case, as your order may have already been on hold for some time, it is possible that there may not be much time left on the original payment deadline, or it may have already expired, in which case we can assist with extending the payment deadline.

If in case you need assistance with further extending the deadline, please contact our support and let us know when you will be able to submit your payment.

    Hello Libris,

Thank you for your suggestions. Due to the uncertainty regarding when the postal service will fully resume their services, and the fact that some countries have a very limited number of shipping methods available, AmiAmi is currently looking into some alternatives.

Unfortunately we are sorry to say that we not yet have any further announcements available regarding this issue.

If you wish to confirm what options that are currently available for your country/region, please contact our support.

    Hello,

I was given a tracking number on July 4th for my EMS shipment to Mexico. And it brought my attention that the tracking number says it is still marked as "posting/collection". It is a little concerning since I just got another EMS parcel from Achi, Japan that didn't take more than one day to be marked as "dispatch from outward office of exchange". Is there any problems at  Tokyo so my parcel hasn't moved at all?

    Thank you kindly.

    Hello Itzel,

For Mexico, we have confirmed large shipping delays all the way back to June, so while we do not yet think there is a need to worry about your package being lost, you can contact our support for confirming the location of your package.

The online tracking details is most likely correct, and based on the current delays, it is likely to take at least a few more weeks for your package to arrive in your country.

If you have any other questions, then please let us know.
