When selecting shipping methods for your orders, please make sure to select a shipping method that is available for your country/region. Note that you are no longer be able to select shipping methods that are unavailable for the destination country/region, but if you selected the shipping method before a suspension, then we will try to update your order to an available option, when invoicing your order.

Regarding DHL shipping
DHL has announced a few localized stoppages, but for most part is processed as normal with some delays depending on your region.
*NOTE: There may be some countries to which we cannot ship via DHL. Please contact us via chat or by submitting a request by clicking "Submit a Request" above if you are unsure.
Regarding Japan Post shipping (EMS/Air/SAL)
The available shipping methods vary by country, please check your country in our full country list to see what shipping methods that are currently available for your country.

What are the chances that you will find an alternative shipping method for Russia before the New Year?
I guess you are not going to upset your customers during the worldwide holiday.
Sorry, but I don't understand what are you waiting for. More than 5 months since stop shipping, Japan Post won't resume SAL this year, Japan Post won't resume any shipping to Russia/USA this year (anyway upgrade from SAL even to Air Mail is already expensive enough). FedEx (that you also don't use) isn't a variant due to cost and dimensional weight. Please add Surface already. Another big shop did it months ago. From January, 1 custom limit in Russia become 50 euros (from 100) and we will lost money again.
2nd wave begins, no hope for resume shipping this year. Surface Parcel (because Surface Small Packet in untrackable) please for a chance to receive smth before NY. And there is nothing to "review".
It really disappoints me how AmiAmi is handling this situation and taking all this time to review Suface Mail shipping for other countries.
Other shops handeled this so fast and great 5 months ago, and only took them a 1~2 month period to add this service since no other cheaper options are available.
Now I have received most of my shipments from other shops through surface mail (Japan Post) without any issues or damage.
And yet no word from AmiAmi, no update nothing new. 3 months passed by now if not 4.
I wasn't complaining before beacuse you were offering 2 months payment time. But now with the regular 7 day paymet time is back it really start making me frustrated.
You guys are a large company, please seek out new shipping rate deals with more companies. Please negotiate lower rates. DHL is jacking up delivery rates during this crisis, playing you like fools and then we foot part of that shipping bill. Everyone that has to use DHL in the US hates them, they don't deliver with care. Other companies have already hit deals to ship internationally with Ontrac, Fedex and UPS, while you guys sit here twiddling your thumbs waiting for the public sector to open up. Sorry to tell you this. but as Libris said, What are you waiting for??? How much of your money is sitting in inventory because of your company's inaction? Forget the bureaucracy faced in JP companies, you have to let whoever is in charge know they are messing up big time.
Can we at least get a "We are working with shipping carriers to find the best way to ship your existing orders out"?
Every other e-com store in the JP figure industry has explored other options that don't rely on DHL. Some have even decided to meet their customers halfway on shipping cost or offer some other discounted shipping options.
Can we also get an update on if Surface Mail (Premium) will be going out to more customers?
I feel like you've only done 1 wave of Surface Mail Premium as we haven't had a notice regarding this shipping method in over two months.

I've been your loyal customer for more than 7 years now. There must be a way to find new shipping options to Russia now, the current situation is very, very disappointing. Are you working on finding available shipping methods? Because packages from other countries arrive here on time.

Sorry, but I don't understand your explanation about Surface. Of course Russian Post (as USPS in the US) will carry parcel on territory of Russia. And Surface is work for Russia as some other japan shops use it now.

Of course, AmiAmi is not at fault for Japan Post's shipping restristions; AmiAmi's at fault for not providing the shipping methods that haven't been suspended (Surface Mail and couriers other than DHL), like some other shops did months ago. I can only assume it requires loads of paperwork and is overall easier said than done.
Another thing is Japan Post doesn't seem to have a request/inquiry/comment form for foreign customers (JP has a phone number for domestic inquiries, that's about it). If there were a way to contact JP as easily as AmiAmi, people would have sent their angry emails to JP directly; right now people can only vent their frustration in the comment section here in hopes that it can reach someone.
Have there been updates with exploring options through UPS or Fedex? I've had some packing from Japan through both and it was very stress free for me and for the seller. FFS, please look into more options. I've been waiting 7 months for my 800$+ order.
I understand that JP companies have a lot of bureaucracy from customer complaints to actual actions but it's really getting pathetic at this point.
8 paid and unshipped orders to Russia. And i know, that from NOV 01 Russia and Japan resumed plane flights.

j_wayne nope. 2 packages shipped 2 months ago (to Moscow) and the status is stuck at "shipped from Japan". I think someone's carrying them on foot. This is ridiculous.
It's been 9 months since my order was to be shipped. Goodsmile was able to get me my order quickly and even met me half way on a quicker shipping option in SUMMER 2020, mandarake also shipped to me quickly after order confirmation and received within a month of ordering in FALL 2020. Still waiting for a $1000+ order I paid for in full back in April 2020. Absolutely a freaking joke that we are all waiting this long.
If your order was upgraded to Surface Mail (Premium) you should've received an email with the damaged good policy attached.
I will ask my mail carrier to inspect the package with me and If there is any issues with my order being damaged I will ask them to mark my parcel as damaged, then I will ask for full compensation from amiami.
Will you be allowing multiple orders to be combined when they are pre-order products delayed due to the shipping restrictions?
I have 3 Pre-orders in the next 3 months:
A) Released Mid April (1 product, Delayed)
B) Releasing End of May (3 products, not yet released)
C) Releasing End of June (2 products, not yet released)
Will I be able to combine A and B to save both myself and AmiAmi shipping cost associated with shipping both orders?
There is no option to combine A and B on the website as the orders are for separate months, can customer service force these to combine?
If it is June and A and B are still delayed, will I be able to combine A B and C into 1 order with 1 shipment?
The reason I ask is because I would prefer we cut shipping costs as low as possible for both myself and AmiAmi because it is wasteful to pay shipping 3 times and it is wasteful to need to pack 3 orders and ship 3 separate orders from your fulfillment side.

I would like to join the above about surface/sea shipping - please, we kindly ask you to enter it for Russia. Orders cannot leave Japan from the end of March, the waiting period is too long. Take a look at the map - Russia is close enough to Japan, you only need to deliver parcels by sea to the border with Russia (Vladivostok), and then orders will move around our country. Of course, this process is not fast, but in any case it is faster than a pointless waiting in the warehouse. There is no reason to believe that air delivery to Russia will resume soon. Please listen to your customers and their requests. Please do not remain silent for so long at such a crucial moment.

I've been waiting for two orders since June.
I'm getting parcels from USA and China just fine, this is just silly that I can't get stuff from Japan.
I'm willing to upgrade to DHL (I don't think it costs more than EMS), or downgrade to anything registered and trackable.

I think about 1 moth ago it was reported that Surface mail for the majority of countries is under review. Do you have any news about it? I think you had enough time to introduce it at least for several countries/regions. Your clients are waiting for your answer.
I just don't know. I can't cancel my orders because need this figures and can't buy them at other shops already (also I'll lose a lot of money on currency convertion), but 7 month... I received 2 orders from 2 another japan shops via Surface without problem, it's pretty good shipping method with tracking and insurance. Also there is refund/repay on AmiAmi for change of shipping method. And due to currency convertion it will be a pain for russian customers (upgrade from SAL to Air will cost less than losses on convertion in this case).
If you don't want to use Surfase, what about temporarily allow mailforwarding services located in Japan?
It's been almost half a year since one of my orders was released and put in a warehouse "on hold", unable to be shipped to Russia, and looks like nothing changed.
With no actions or news from AmiAmi I feel like canceling all my pre-orders. Which is a shame, because I'm in a middle of a series and otherwise would have bought at least 4 more figures.
I guess I'll just have to order them somewhere else..
Same here. Orders from China meanwhile are all coming in like lightning. Can't you like, organize sea freight across to China and then redirect it through there?
And the funniest thing - i ship parcels TO Japan via regular Russian Post and they all delivered with no problems.
My mandarake order has now arrived, shipped from Japan to the UK. I placed the order Boxing Day. It took less than a week to process, ship, clear customs and get to my doorstep. Meanwhile amiami is collecting dust on my order. This truly is the last time I order from you guys. I will be closing my account.

Is there anyone here who used this new Surface Parcel shipping option and received their package?
I have 3 orders shipped with this method, the oldest - 2 months ago, but judging by tracking they are not moving at all. Tracking says what my package left Japan, but I doubt it.
I understand Surface mail is slower than Air and I don't expect to recive stuff in a week or two, but two months with no movement?? Seriously?
Any comments from AmiAmi staff?
